Welcome to A. Walker and Associates Consulting. My company provides consultation, training and/or workshops to: schools, school systems, education professionals, parents/guardians, church groups, community centers and parent and child servicing agencies. Services specialize in education and mental/behavioral health.

Services are available in the DC/MD/VA area, but travel to other areas can be negotiated. 

Services Include:

Staff/Leadership Professional Development
All professional development topics can be directed toward either school leadership (central office or school-based), classroom-based staff (teachers, teacher assistants, instructional leaders) and/or office and support staff (receptionists, building service staff, security officers) where appropriate. In addition, trainings can be custom developed on a variety of topics based upon the needs of a particular school or school system.


Parent Workshops
Trainings can be custom developed on a variety of topics based upon the needs of a particular school or school system in the area of parental support and involvement.


Parent Coaching
Coaching opportunities are available for parents, guardians and/or caretakers who need more individualized support for challenging parenting issues.
